Dear Parents,
At Port City Public School & College, we consider English not only a subject but also a bridge that connects our children to the wider world. When students develop the ability to read, write, and speak in English, they are not simply preparing for exams—they are preparing to share their ideas, dreams, and talents on a global stage.

In my classes, I encourage students to express themselves without fear of mistakes. Every attempt to speak, every paragraph they write, every story they read adds strength to their confidence. Language is about communication, not perfection—and when children feel free to express themselves, they also begin to believe in their own voices.

At home, you can support this journey by listening to them patiently, encouraging them to read aloud, or asking them to share something new they have learned. When you appreciate their effort, even in small ways, you reinforce their courage.

Together, let us help our students see English as a powerful tool for connection—one that will empower them with confidence, broaden their opportunities, and give them the ability to stand tall in any corner of the world.
