1) The entire year is divided into three periods. 1st Terminal Exam is held in May, 2nd Terminal Exam in August and 3rd Terminal Exam in December, which is mentioned in the annual academic calendar with dates.
2) 1 pre-term exam is conducted before each term exam. 25 for each subject with full marks in pre-term examination. The marks obtained in the pre-term examination are added to the periodic examination.
3) From pre-nursery to class II (Bengali, English, Mathematics only) the temporary examination is of 75 marks. The result of 100 marks is made by adding 25 marks of pre-term examination to that.
4) Provisional examination of 3rd to 9th class will be of 75 marks. In case of class 10th only, temporary examination is held as per the board fixed distribution of 100 marks. Total 100 marks are made by adding the 25 marks obtained in the pre-term examination with the 75 marks of the provisional examination.
5) Pre-term or interim examinations are not conducted before or after the scheduled date under any circumstances. In this case, any kind of application or demand of the guardian is not acceptable.
6) If a student is unable to participate in the pre-term examination or interim examination due to special reasons, then on the application of the parent, 75% of the marks obtained in the previous/post examination in that subject will be added to the absent examination.
7) Pass number 9 in pre-term examination. 17 out of 50 and 33 out of 100 in the provisional exam.
8) Merit placement in the provisional examination is determined based on GPA (Grade Point Average). If someone’s total marks are low but his GPA is high then his merit rank will be higher. However, it should be noted that in the case of multiple students having the same GPA, the merit list is determined by giving priority to the total marks obtained by them.
9) Annual final result is prepared by combining 20% marks of 1st provisional exam, 20% of 2nd provisional exam and 60% marks of annual exam.
10) If a student is admitted after the 1st Provisional or 2nd Provisional Examination, then the annual result is adjusted by adding 75% of the marks obtained in the Participatory Provisional Examinations in the missed Provisional Examinations.
11) The result statement/result card provided by the institution must be returned to the class teacher within three days of publication of the result with the signature of the actual parent at the designated place. It is advised to take 1 photocopy of the result and keep it at home before making the refund.
12) If the result statement/result card is lost, it is mandatory to collect a new result statement and submit it in proper manner by paying a fine of 100 rupees.
13) Lecture sheets/handnotes given in class are provided to facilitate lesson preparation. Not for exam preparation. Exam questions can come from CW,HW or any part of the syllabus based textbook apart from handnotes.
14) The schedule of pre-term examination and interim examination is given on page 1 of the diary along with date and time. Apart from this, the pre-term exam standing routine is also printed at the bottom of the page.
