Dear Parents,
At Port City Public School & College, we believe that true education must nurture both the mind and the spirit. As a Hindu Religious Studies teacher, my role is to guide students toward values that shape their character—truthfulness, respect, tolerance, and compassion. Knowledge alone cannot bring peace or happiness; it is values that give knowledge its true meaning.
In my classroom, I encourage children to learn from the teachings of the scriptures, from stories of honesty, courage, and kindness. These lessons are not only about religion but about building the moral foundation every child needs to become a responsible and caring human being. When they learn to respect elders, to speak kindly, and to act with fairness, they are preparing to serve society with integrity.
Dear parents, your guidance at home makes this path stronger. When you encourage children to live with honesty, to practice patience, or to show kindness toward others, you reinforce what they learn in school. Education becomes most powerful when values are practiced both in class and at home.
Together, let us raise children who excel in academics but also shine with humanity—students of Port City Public School & College who will carry wisdom, peace, and respect into every step of their future.
